Quick answer
Abaddon is a spell-based counter to Bane. Aphotic Shield — strong dispel on self or an ally: Fiend's Grip and Nightmare: removes an ally's disable if the saving hero can cast; interrupt the caster as well to stop Grip's channel. Despite that interaction, the stored matchup model favours the opponent. Model edges are not measured win rates.
These positions don't share a lane; compare teamfight interaction instead. Usual positions are assumed from recent games — change them to match your game.
Separate lanes — this is a rotation & teamfight matchup.
Neither hero's lane record establishes a direct laning advantage over the other. Whole-match win rates and economy stay unchanged: those samples are not position-filtered.
